Services Offered
Here is
an outline of the resources and service that I can offer :-
INITIAL - "NO OBLIGATION" MEETING
An initial meeting
will give you the opportunity to ensure that you would be happy to have me as
your celebrant.
At the meeting, I
will outline the services that I offer, show you examples of ceremonies and the
resources that I have available including a simple Planning Template.

STYLE OF
CEREMONY
The wedding ceremony we prepare will be
individual and special for you.
It can be creative,
formal, informal, traditional, modern, romantic, humorous – whatever suits your
style. As I have a religious
background, I celebrate lots of weddings for people who are looking for
something meaningful.
FURTHER
MEETINGS
If you subsequently
decide that you would like me to prepare and celebrate you wedding, we would
arrange a meeting where:
-
I will assist you
to lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage
-
We will discuss the
resources that we can use to compose a ceremony that suits your style - the type and content of ceremony,
readings, vows, music and other possibilities (Sand Ceremony, Candle Ceremony,
Blessings etc)
-
I have “Planning Your Ceremony” and
“Personalising Your Wedding Ceremony” templates that will help bring all your
ideas together.
CEREMONY
PREPARATION
We will begin to
compose a ceremony that suits your purpose. You can send me your initial suggestions
and I will begin to prepare the
first draft of a ceremony.
Most of this can be
achieved via email. However
you may contact me at any time with queries or to discuss anything related to
your wedding.
We will continue to
make additions, suggestions, corrections until we have a final draft.
REHEARSAL
There will be a
Rehearsal during the week or two preceding the ceremony when the Government
Declaration will be signed and final draft of the Ceremony will be
checked.
The Rehearsal can be
at the venue, your place or mine – depending on what is convenient for you. You are invited (but it is not
necessary) to have present other members of the wedding
party.
THE WEDDING
DAY
On the day of the
ceremony, I will arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the commencement time to
meet any of the readers, family members and ensure that all is in place for a
memorable and meaningful ceremony.
AFTER THE
CEREMONY
Following the
Ceremony all the legal documents will be lodged
immediately.
I will forward you a
Presentation Copy of the complete Ceremony and ask if you have any
comments.
